The black hole emerges from the beam pipe into ATLAS. It hits one of the magnets and causes a quench and a coolant leak. The party try to escape up the stairs, but there are more problems facing them as they hurry up to the surface.
The level three alarm reaches the Fire Station just as the Green Team Leader George Gabor is being reprimanded by the self-important Station Commander Laron Parfait.
